Created and managed by Ryn Shields, a Canadian undergraduate student pursuing a degree in English media and writing at Laurentian University. Ryn knew she wanted to be an author ever since a story she wrote in sixth grade received stellar reviews from her classmates, and she’s been chasing that high ever since. Within her writing career, she has published five poems and has become a peer editor for The Margin literary journal, where she has met genius writers and joined a fantastic community.
Ryn’s Reading Room is a blog dedicated to creating a space for readers, writers, and literary fanatics with writing tips, book reviews, and everything in between.
With over probably a billion words written, and just about a hundred books read, what’s a couple more? With this literary blog, Ryn hopes to share her experience between pages and even in the outside world of publishing. Connecting with writers and readers from all over the world, and putting in her two cents in the form of blog posts rather than rambling on and on about her latest read to her family, and friends.
